Question regarding chapter on Pastoral Care.

In chapter three, the discussion is on everyday pastoral care.  Now what he is talking about is not pastoral care in the sense of hospital visits or visiting shut-ins.  I think what the authors are talking about is discipleship of one another.  And what they are getting at is being intentional with our conversations with one another to talk about our walk with Christ and to encourage one another in our walk with Christ.  Do you find it easy or hard to speak with fellow believers on a spiritual level?  Would it feel forced or would it feel natural?

What do you think of the authors statement that pastoral care (discipleship) is a lifelong (longterm) task with those with whom we are discipling?
